About Stirling Experience

The company has been operating the Mt. Stirling Backcountry Ski Hire, Mt. Stirling Ski School and mountain Transport within the resort since 1986. During the winter season we offer a full range of equipment including backcountry, all-terrain (AT), telemarking, cross country and skating skis - as well as boots, poles, snowshoes - for hire and sale. We also provide ski lessons together with day and overnight snow camping tours through the Mt. Stirling Professional Ski School.

Stirling Experience also operate and service an Alpine Camp which is set up each winter season at the Cricket Pitch. The camp is accessed via a 3km ski tour or snow-shoe trek from Telephone Box Junction. This is the only bookable accommodation on Mt. Stirling and will accommodate up to 28 people in seven 4 person tents on raised platforms surrounding a large communal tepee.

Our staff are experienced outdoor professionals, who hold International Cross Country Ski Instruction and Ski Coaching credentials and are skilled group leaders. A full range of single and multiple day programs are available to suit education groups, corporate training and personal achievement goals.
