Circuit Road Improvements Works May 2019

Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) – Forest Fire Management have engaged a contractor to carry out significant repairs and upgrades to the Circuit Road and No. 3 Road, Mt Stirling (Mansfield State Forest). These works will include hazardous tree removal, culvert replacement, grading and re-sheeting.

Access for emergency vehicles may be possible if contact is made with the contractor’s site manager or through DELWP (Mansfield office ph. 03 5733 1200).

The next planned closure dates are:

Wed 22-Fri 24 May 2019	No. 3 Rd from Circuit Rd to Mine Creek Rd	7:30am-5:30pm daily
Mon 27 May	No. 3 Rd from Circuit Rd to No.3 Refuge Hut	7:30am-5:30pm

Access to Craig’s Hut during the closures is via Howqua Gap and the southern side of Circuit Rd.

This works program will extend for approximately 6 weeks commencing from 20 March 2019.
