Mt Stirling offers intermediate and advanced snowboarders a unique backcountry experience.

While there are no lifts on Mt Stirling, riders can still trek on snowshoes to the Summit and the Stanley Bowl area and make the most of the Resort's untouched terrain. It is recommended that snowboarders ascend and descend via Bluff Spur Trail or Howqua Gap Trail.

There are no snowboard lesson facilities on Mt Stirling and the type of terrain is suitable for upper intermediate to advanced riders only – if you are a beginner snowboarder it is best to visit Mt Buller’s Ski & Snowboard School for a lesson. Click here for further information.
